Austrian Association of Inclusive Society (AIS)

The Austrian Association of Inclusive Society (AIS) is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion for individuals with disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds, focusing on social, educational, and technological integration. AIS supports educators through professional development in inclusive education, social inclusion, and addiction prevention, while also providing resources for parents to help prevent school dropouts. With a team of researchers, trainers, and volunteers, AIS advocates for policy changes that promote accessibility and inclusion, while working to address cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diversity in education.

Primary School with Resource Centre “D-r Zlatan Sremec”

The Primary School with Resource Centre “D-r Zlatan Sremec” in Skopje, North Macedonia, is a public school established in 1972, serving 98 students with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. The school offers an adapted curriculum for students aged 6 to 18 and includes extracurricular activities and specialized facilities such as a sensory integration room and a snoezelen room. With a team of 37 special educators, therapists, and professionals, the school focuses on modernizing its teaching methods, supporting inclusive education, and enhancing staff professional development to better meet the needs of its students.

EURASIA

EURASIA Innovative Society Association, based in Bursa, Turkey, is a non-profit organization focused on promoting digital and green transformation within society through education and community engagement. The association’s key initiatives include enhancing ICT, STEM, and environmental education, promoting AI literacy, and addressing climate change through eco-friendly actions. With a team of 12 researchers, 400 teachers, and 220 volunteers, EUROASIA specializes in immersive technologies, VR/AR, smart farming, and offers courses and workshops in digitalization, cognitive skills, and mental well-being. The organization has significant expertise in designing innovative learning environments, developing educational curricula, and managing large-scale innovation projects.

Gulbenes novada vidusskola

Gulbenes novada vidusskola is a regional secondary school in Latvia that provides inclusive education to 1,126 students, supported by 120 teachers and staff. Offering 10 educational programs, the school emphasizes project-based learning, creativity, and digital competencies. It is dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive environment with special programs for students with disabilities, extracurricular activities in arts and sports, and a strong focus on entrepreneurship and leadership. The school also actively promotes collaboration with families and adapts to modern challenges, including online learning, to ensure student success.

Sant Josep School

Sant Josep School in Terrassa is an educational center for early childhood and primary education, serving 300 students from nursery to age 12. The school emphasizes multilingualism, teaching a third of subjects in English and incorporating Catalan, Spanish, and German. Key initiatives include English immersion projects (PIPE, HKP), emotional management programs, and a focus on sustainable development through the “9 months 9 causes” project. With a strong commitment to inclusion and equity, the school supports students with special needs and prioritizes continuous teacher training, international exchanges, and cross-cultural collaboration.

School Center for Inclusive Education Delfinul

School Center for Inclusive Education Delfinul in Romania is a public special school dedicated to providing quality educational and therapeutic services to nearly 300 children with mental disabilities, learning disabilities, attention disorders, and autism. The school has a specialist staff of 100, including special education teachers, speech therapists, and behavior therapists, working to help students develop communication, personal autonomy, and social skills. The school utilizes alternative communication methods like pictograms and sensory integration activities to support the students’ educational journey and social integration. Their goal is to improve the lives of their students and families, with a strong focus on social inclusion and independent living.
